Long story short, I really enjoyed it! Solid 8/10 for me.

The good:

• Solid Writing
• Solid Jokes
• Some of the songs were legit catchy, as someone who usually finds MLP songs very hit or miss
• Good pacing for the most part
• Generally enjoyed the cast
• Izzy Moonbow is precious and must be protected

The bad:

• Pacing kinda suffered near the end
• Some songs were oof
• Some characters didn't get as much moments to shine

Happy 2021 to you all!

I'm sure you've all heard that already, but I figure I should also say the same, as well as mention that I'm still alive. Furthermore, I plan to start writing a new story soon finally. I took an extended break from writing thanks to both work ramping up, and getting seriously into learning to draw. I very much want to write more though, and want to provide more good stuff here.

I'm a beginner artist, who for the last month or so been trying to really get into the swing of drawing stuff. Practicing shapes, looking at references to see how they could be drawn, asking for advice, etc etc. It's hard stuff, and I've come to realize that the best teacher is simply going to be trial and error; failing and then asking/looking for help for the stuff I failed on.

Random question: do you ever make your own in-jokes about stories you're writing/have written?

I'm doing that for a few things I'm writing at the moment, and I gotta say it's one of the more enjoyable parts of the process so far.

Anyway, I've caught the writing bug and want to put together my first fic published to this site. I don't think it will be anything special, but I'd like to pop my fanfic writing cherry and just write more in general.
