I had posted this on my Tumblr blog Saturday evening, but forgot to post it here. So et voila, for those interesting in me seeing dive into an Odd Squad ripoff pre-release.

So at the beginning of the year, I had stated my desires to do more with my FiMFic blog. Namely, I wanted to do reviews and discussion of cartoon news, Odd Squad stuff, and the like.

After many nights of editing, scheming, and having the anxiety really kick in over "is this how you write other people's OCs?", I am proud to say that I have finally finished the fic for the Odd Squad Discord server's Valentine's Fic Exchange.

The problem, of course, is coming up with a witty title that references a PDFA PSA. And fretting over whether my recipient finds it good.

After a bit of a delay, I've finally got a good springboard to begin writing my story for the Odd Squad Discord server's Secret Valentine's Exchange! Huzzah!

Unfortunate part is, I only have ten days to bang out the fic -- it's due right on the 14th, natch. And if my ADD doesn't cooperate, chances are I'll be seeking out an extension of a few days.

But, like...chill with the dark stuff, huh? G5 wishes it could reach the caliber y'all did in a single story arc. When I see pones with "taking you with me" gambits and "let's do the stabby-stab" death attempts, I'll hit ya up.

So I'm not gonna lie, Season 2 of Tell Your Tale is solid thus far. For something running where Make Your Mark walked, it's going pretty well. (And yeah, I know, it's only been 2 episodes...but it's a pretty good improvement from Season 1. Only con I have is that if's still 5 minutes.)

There is something that bugs me though...outside of the whole 5-minute thing, anyway.

Woke: I have procured a laptop! I can make stories once more!

Broke: 2006 hard drive. Old WXP computer that has been upgraded to Windows 10. Every time I hit the A key I hit the S key on accident. The touchpad makes me drag stuff way too often. I have to type like fellow Old Man Child Otis in Odd Squad. Send help.

Okay, but real talk. It's not a perfect computer, but it's passable. It'll really take some work to bang fics out with how fast I usually type, but I'll make it work.
