This story is a sequel to Sunset Shimmer's magic adventures, Volume 2: The Villain Gauntlet.

One month has passed, during which everyone, heroes like villains, had a nice time. But nothing last forever, as Grogar finally set the last and final part of his plan into motion: Getting the Elements of Harmony for himself and use them to take over Equestria. It will definitively be the heroes' Darkest Hour and the villains' Finest Hour. But first, our heroes need to awaken the true power of their Element of Harmony to stand a chance against their enemies, who were given tremendous power by Grogar himself. The day of the offensive has arrived for Sunset's friends and Grogar's allies. It's time for Sombra, Tirek, Chrysalis, Stygian, Adagio, Aria and Sonata, Aka the Sirens, Starlight, Discord, Cosmos, Nightmare, Moonlight and Sunny to face off the heroes and get their hands on the Elements of Harmony they possess. Will Sunset Shimmer, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie be able to defeat each of them or will they need a mircale to pull this off?

Discord have reset the timeline, after Sunlight and Moonlight requested him to do so. In this new timeline, major changes happened, roles are reversed and a new character takes the spotlight. Follow Sunset Shimmer as she is about to live adventures after adventures, fighting evil and enjoy some normality, in her hometown.

Sidenote: This story have no continuity with the previous one i wrote (Rise of a Hero) So if you have read the previous stories or not, it doesn't matter, because you don't need context to fully enjoy this new story. If you did, however, You'll already be familiar with the two main antagonist of the story...

Sunlight was about to lose it, and Moonlight as well, until Discord told them about the existence of the Multiverse...This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for them. As they left everything behind to go on a multiverse quest of justice, Sunset Shimmer and --Surprise-- Discord join the party.
