It appears that writing out that bothersome (and, frankly, rather trite) story idea in that random blogpost actually did the trick! I've finally managed to get my comedy going. Today, it jumped from under 200 words to, as of this posting, nearly 1200. Seeing as I don't plan for it to be lengthy, it shouldn't take a terribly long while for me to finish it if I go on like this. It'd be nice if I could be done with it before Season 3 starts, but it's more unlikely than not.

So, I've come down with a fever again (blasted persistent virus!) and somehow am struggling to get the work on the comedy fic off the ground and moving. I'm chalking it up to my brain trying to properly reset after all the previous writing, which is not helped by the typical autumn 'urgh' state I tend to have.
