A group of large, angry, rock creatures come out of nowhere and attack Ponyville. Twilight and her friends must find a way to stop them before they destroy the town, albeit with a bit of a whole new skill from Twilight and Starlight.

After reading so many great and funny stories, Pinkie Pie decides to get into creative writing and start writing her own great story.

However, she suffers from a bad case of writer's block and decides to enlist help from Twilight, who guides her through the process of story writing.

Everyone in Equestria is having a Magic Festival until trouble arises when they find out that the Elements of Harmony are missing. The Mane Six have to find out who's behind it and put a stop to the culprit. Meanwhile, the culprit is revealed to be a new villain named Sid who tries to use the Elements of Harmony for his nefarious and notorious purposes in secret.
