This is a shipping story (or part three of said shipping story) between commentators, BronyBurningAxe and CoHNaturesFury.

A 'Diary of Diddy Discord' Special:
(You do not need to have read the aforementioned story to read this. You only need to know that this is pre-Discord being stoned and pre-Luna being sent to the moon).

After a sudden break up with her coltfriend, Diddy Discord sets his old friend Celestia up on a date with the one and only Smooze.

Trixie has a popular show, good friends, and a very special pony as her pen pal. She's happy as a pony could ever be. So, how can one small altercation with the formidable reviewer, Trenderhooves, ruin all that? Well, it can, and it does. And to think, it all starts with letters. Letters to Trixie.

As a new patient joins NEMI (North Equestria Mental Institution) a young colt, Silas, begins to write journal entries of his life before his other personality, Sombra. The Doctors tell him this will help him be cured but he wonders whether it's just too late for him to be saved.

Diddy Discord, however, can't thank his new friend enough for being himself, as he struggles through the trials and tribulations of being 'mentally unstable' and moving away from all those who cared for him before entering the asylum.

Relax on an uncomfortable flooring, lift your imaginary glass and listen in rapture (and occasionally fear) to the best comedy that Celestia has to offer. Acts include the legendary Twilight Sparkle, the overly excited Spike, and the always presentable Miss Rarity. It's sure to be a good (sort of) time for us all.
