After a year of (admittedly sporadic) Thursday installments, the five protagonists of the Snippet Series finally stop living their lives in parallel and meet up at a Wonderbolt expo to share in some closure.

This story was a long time coming, and it concludes the storylines most enjoyed by the readers as well as ones most enjoyed by myself.

Befitting an end-of-the year event, I now present four cohesive Snippets for the price of one. I hope they please all of you who've enjoyed the first phase of this ongoing anthology. And for those of you just joining, with this installment you can now read the entire anthology from start to finish.

The requests come in, the paintings go out, and the Bits arrive later. That's the shaky system "Rainbow" has managed to work out for herself. A life lived through letters is a little lonely, but she can at least be certain she'll never be seen by someone who recognizes her copypasted face.

You'd think a Rainbow Dash replica would remember that Twilight uses Spike for everything mail related.

Twice in Equestria's history, an unhinged flying pony has attempted to take over before being sealed in stone as indefinite punishment. The first failed usurper didn't mellow at all during her sentence. The second one though...

Moody, atmospheric character vignette that got 2nd place in the Cozy Glow Group's August 2020 Short Story Contest. Golly, am I honored.

Turns out the School of Friendship has a swim team leader board. Turns out Smolder is a pretty good swimmer. She wants to be the best though, for a reason more complicated than simple pride.

This fic is the product of another one of Nitro Indigo's text prompts. This one: Portray a pony with Naked Foal Syndrome. It ended up morphing into brief character study on Smolder, but that’s not a bad thing for a fic to be.

Being the most senior Wonderbolt now that Spitfire has retired, Fleetfoot is the one who gets the final say in which applicants get accepted as cadets. It's a pretty cut and dry job; either the pony she's evaluating meets the flight skill requirements, or they don't.

Or they're not a pony and the only thing Fleetfoot has to go on is her gut.

Cover image is just some vectors I found because unlike most of my other fics, this one wasn't picture prompted. It was a one sentence prompt from Nitro Indigo saying "A nonpony joins the Wonderbolts."

Fierce foalhood bullying taught Applejack to keep a certain hobby of hers to herself. Years of holding it in has made her a bit skittish, but like every pony with a secret, it was only matter of time until she got caught.

Tight, dreamlike character vignette striving to capture the mood of the source pic. Pinkie was certainly a tough pony to portray in way that felt “right,” but those characters tend to be the most rewarding when things finally click.

Sweetie Belle has the grand idea. Silver Spoon has the cash to make it happen. And Rarity has both the spare storeroom and goodwilled ignorance to give two troublemakers the space they need to add an artificial addition to their rambunctious ranks.

Very very lean oneshot that is my first foray into pure comedy. It's also more of an opening scene for a longer story than the self-sustained vignettes I usually write. Consider it a filler upload while work continues on It Takes A Princess.

Speed Reader may only be a temporary product of a fusion spell brewed by Dash and Twilight, but she's still got the Wonderbolt Barracks to herself for a whole half hour before she splits again. Just long enough to tangle with someone whom her halves would most certainly kick to the curb if either of them were in control.

But they're not in control. Speed Reader is. She can read ponies like books, and Lightning Dust is after something in the archives. Something important.

Creativa's struggle against Order's tyranny isn't going well, especially after another humiliating defeat punts her through one of his portals to a different dimension. Still, this eager to help alicorn who vaguely looks like her late sister seems to be a sign her luck is turning.

Seems. Order's schemes are grander than anypony, least of all Creativa and Luna, can imagine.

Originally written for Nitro Indigo's first Swapped Roles contest a year ago, with Discord and Celestia being the inverted ones while a flippant canon version of Luna tags along for the ride. The story is its own fic now.

Rated Teen for some knockdown drag-out brawls between heroes and villains. One character also occasionally cusses in untranslated Latin.

Flurry Heart has requested a very unusual bedtime story. Shining Armor senses something is up, but he also knows that children occasionally come across feelings they don't have words for yet. Books can supply those words.

On a less cerebral note, hopefully there’s some entertainment to be had watching Shining Armor flounder through a novel that common sense dictates he shouldn't be reading to a foal before bed. That 'Thriller' tag is present in the banner for a reason.
