It was a major shake-up for most ponies: the loss of magic from Equestria. But for Cozy Glow, it just meant swapping her enchanted stone prison for a normal ball-and-chain one. Besides, that was ten years ago. What does she care of the humbled world outside? Or that it just delivered her an uppity new cellmate?

Its been hectic, but Spike has finally settled in as Equestria's inter-species ambassador. His latest (and trickiest) meeting is with an eccentric equine hailing from Discord's dimension. She seems to want help with a personal problem.

I don't write Screwball stories often, since she strains my brain to its creative limit. Let's see if Spike fields her any better than I do.

In Equestria, when it rains it pours. A recent barrage of threats has included an evil queen from the moon, an invasion of shapeshifting bugs, and even a rampaging god of chaos.

Some days, Twilight Sparkle wishes there was an easy fix for it all. Some sort of rainbow laser that could solve any conflict. But wishful fantasizing doesn't keep ponies protected; hooves on the ground do.

Only guards like Twilight can keep Ponyville safe. Still, she won’t say no if a few locals offer help...

This story is a sequel to In Search of Sand and Signs

It took a lot of encouragement from his energetic marefriend, but Sandstone Shine has finally made the move to Equestria. Together with Sapphire, he's half of a strange pair in a familiar land. Might as well settle in with a day out. See what the city of Canterlot has to offer.

This fic is a gift to the artist Ahobo, whose sketchpad gave life to my Seapony OC. Now I happily reciprocate by bringing his OCs to the page. But of course I'm not the first; Sapphire and Sandstone's treasure-hunting origin occurs in the linked prequel fic. Reading it is only necessary to understand the epilogue.

Long Play has a concert to catch, but his blubbering baby sister just got home from school. Something got under her fur today. Something serious.

Side note, how did it take me so long to learn Vinyl canonically has an older brother? I really need to read more IDW comics.

It’s Thursday! Time for Equestria's most popular weekly talk show, Cozy's Glowpinions! The host isn't exactly sane, but she sure loves to be heard. Princess Twilight says that thanks to these broadcasted self-therapy sessions, Cozy is on the cusp of a real redemptive breakthrough.

She's been saying that for nearly 40 episodes.

The worst thing about Land Ponies is they’re always out of water. Always out of reach. Living close to the coastline is enough to drive a Sea Pony crazy with curiosity. But with grit, engineering, and the timely return of Magic to the world, she may make some friends yet.
