Since its inception, I've been very disturbed by my own writing in Four's A Crowd, and not in a good way. It lacked something, and I couldn't put my hoof on it nor really fix it.
And then, after reading other works - as I sometimes do, though not often enough - I think I found it. It's simply character emotion that's deeper than their surface reaction. Especially with Maëva. And also the descriptions are really mechanical, the narration has no passion for what it's describing.

I've been continuing the Great Correction Project™ at a sluggish pace, but still, I'm doing it. I've done 4 chapters of Immortality so far and woaw was my English bad. It still is, but like I don't know how anyone could read that and get the right feelings from it.
The last one with Pinkie was I think the worst. But, oh well, now it's done. I'll post a blog when the whole fic is done.
I've left the quirky sentence construction though.
