Since I feel like sharing some stuff on the setting of Splintered Sky, but don't want to get too spoilery, I figure something I can talk about are the races and their tribes.

Hey all,
It appears that I made a bit of a faux pas with how I published the expanded version of Phoenix-born rising. So, I'm going to take the chapter down and start a new story thread exclusively for the expanded version.
Sorry for the inconvenience/trouble.
Regards,

Hello everyone.
The first chapter of the revised/expanded Phoenix-born Rising is up, and acts as a bit of a primer to the world of Nitor, also called the world of the Splintered Sky. I'll be updating it irregularly as I expand on it.
Thank you all for reading. I hope you enjoy the ride.
Semester's winding down, and I should have time to do some non-academic writing again. So, I'm planning to start expanding on my Splintered Sky universe a bit. But, I'm having a hard time deciding between the two possible projects that I'd like to do, so feedback would be welcome.
To those who haven't seen it yet, Hazbin Hotel is an indie-animation project created by VivziPop that's become rather popular. If you haven't checked it out, I'd recommend doing so, if you like R-rated dark-comedy musicals with very creative visual designs. Seriously, its amazing. Go check it out.
Good evening everyone.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's favorited, commented and/or just given me a thumbs up on my latest story. I am… honestly floored by the response to Phoenix-born rising. I had hoped that it would be well received, but I never expected this level of response. I'm honestly… really moved.
Y'know how words can cause associations that completely defy the intent of the creators of something?
Take Galarian ponyta. Cute, princess Celestia colored pokemon, right? Seems harmless enough.
With how often Twilight is described as smelling like lavender in fan fiction, I've developed a bit of head-cannon that all Equestrians (pony or human) have natural, vaguely floral aroma. And that the "love juice" of females have a flavor associated with this scent.
Characters I have this h.c. for and their associated floral scents and tastes:
Trying to work on my thesis. Waiting for stories I'm following to update. Tired of grading my student's lab reports (oh sweet merciless Grogar, they have no idea how to form coherent ideas!). Feeling uninspired to work on Wings of Dawn (which thankfully has a bit of a buffer). So, I'm going to post some of my fashion frame for my Harrow (who also happens to be the frame I main).
Enjoy.
