Cloud Dasher is a young buck learning just how harsh reality dares to provide. His parents have kicked him out onto the cold streets of Equestria, and have left him for the dead. All seems hopeless until he finds a certain bubblegum coloured pony trotting with her friends. They meet, they talk, and Pinkie Pie takes it upon herself to help Cloud go see a doctor about his small injury he got while out in the real world. Not only that, but takes him in as a sort of 'son,' knowing that something was amiss about Cloud from the get-go. All seems well for some time, they party, have fun, and open up to one another, until one fateful day at the doctor's office. Now, Cloud is faced with the possibility of a terminal illness. Can he muster the courage and the strength to overcome it, or will he fall dead in his tracks? Only time can tell in this short story of love, loss, and the bonds we can form in the strangest places, that can last forever.
