Riley, a fan of the cartoon "Friendship is Magic", tries to survive the modern warring world. A dome envelops Salisbury England. Scientists calling the newly formed dome, Salisbury Earth. Riley stumbles on one equine after another, helping them, conflicted with her own emotions, and looking for a place to truly call home.

Meanwhile in Equestria, Sapphire Blaze, a once student of Canterlot's School for Gifted Unicorns, wishes to find a friend who understands what it's like to live everyday wondering if there's more to life than this. When a dome appears in the San Palomino Desert, she takes it as a sign, and sets out on an adventure to find her friend.

This story will mainly focus on these two, switching back and forth between them, and experiencing their adventures through their eyes.
