This story is a sequel to The Golden Age of Apocalypse, Book II: Synchronicity

It's been a long journey, filled with adventure and obstacles, new allies and enemies. The worldview of Equestria and Equus itself has been radically shaken as the existence of humans - and Sunset Shimmer's presence among them - is made public.

However, Equestria has managed to weather the storm, comparatively mild when put up against the war with Tirek and the brutal Winter of Aftermath that followed. The crowning of another alicorn princess, the very daughter of Princess Celestia herself, will mark the true rallying point for Equestria's rebuilding.

But behind the scenes, trouble still lurks. Of Sombra's alleged successors; the Scions, only three are known - the fourth remains a mystery. Enemies within and without wait for their turn to strike. And a terrible secret buried at the heart of it all will throw the understanding of the very history of Equestria itself into question.

This story is a sequel to Seven Days in Sunny June, Book V: The New Frontier

Part of the Berylverse Project - edited by Shinzakura, Flynt Coal, Flash Frame, and Whitewolf Stormrunner.

Equestria has weathered a devastating war waged by the monstrous Tirek, emerging victorious but its people and land shattered. As the country continues to pick up the pieces even a year after the centaur’s destruction at the hooves of the Element Bearers, Raspberry Beryl once again finds herself trying to adapt to a new status quo after an unexpected absence of nearly a year – in what was only a few weeks for her in the human world. Embracing the role she was given as Equestria’s appointed Archmagus of Dark Magic – a task she and she alone can only bear due to her ancestry with Sombra, granting her immunity from the corruptive effects of dark magic at the cost of only being able to use dark magic herself – she applies herself to try and help heal the broken world best she can.

But her time back on familiar ground is short before she comes into contact with a dark artifact: the Alicorn Amulet. Unknowingly, she and her friends are thrown into a long dormant plan that could bring about the end of Equestria, a fatal blow to an already crippled country from none other than Sombra himself. To make matters worse, the coronation of the newly ascended Princess Sunset Shimmer is on the horizon and while it will be held in Equestria, the list of invited guests include the first humans who would ever come visit from the human side of the mirror portal. And all along the way, enemies both new and old will challenge the fragile peace of the country.

Yet underneath it all, far more horrifying truths await to be revealed, throwing into question just how much influence the two worlds of ponies and humans have had on each other across time.

Nobody thinks too much about those toys included in the kiddie meals from fast food resturaunts, just promotional cheap freebies to appeal to the kids. The kids will enjoy the little toy for about a day before ultimately forgetting about them - after all, they are usually just simple playthings built around one gimmick. The journey of these figures generally end with them being forlorn and forgotten, lost in the cracks of life. But these toys wish to be recognized as toys just as much as the bigger, more robust offerings in stores, that dream being rarely ever fulfilled.

Such was the case for one poor Cheerilee, a Happy Meal figure who felt she had lost everything. Her comb accessory long gone, abandoned by her owner in a public place, and every day could bring further physical erosion. Nobody pays much attention to her, the fuschia plastic thing left floating forlorn in the pool, and she's certain it is only a matter of time before she meets her end in the trash. After all, she's worthless, she's served her purpose long ago.

But all she needs is to be shown a little love from somebody who still cares. And it can come from the most unexpected and unusual of sources.

Takes place during the events of 7DSJ: Book 3

Until her secret was found out and she was run out of town, only to start the cycle anew elsewhere - such was the life she felt cursed with as the descendant of King Sombra.

Nowadays, her fortunes have reversed - friends, family, a warm home, and a position where her unique powers of darkness can be put to use in protecting ponies as opposed to harming them. Everything seems to be going her way until dark crystal randomly erupts from a small farming community. By investigating the disturbance, she may brush with remnants of her past...and another shadowy remnant of the legacy left by her corrupt ancestor.

This story is a sequel to On Wings

Following a crazy week where her entire being was turned upside down, Cheerilee is perfectly happy as both an earth pony and as the one mare faculty of Ponyville Elementary. Now that the school year is through, she makes her annual plans to volunteer in the town's summer school program, even if it means having to possibly deal with the clique of three unicorns who fancy themselves her professional betters and belittle her constantly. But this is nothing new, nothing she can't handle.

However, when Mayor Mare pulls Cheerilee aside and informs her about Rainbow Dash having lost the ability to fly due to an on-the-job incident, it becomes clear that this is not going to be another routine summer. Forced into being Dash's last hope of ever flying again, Cheerilee is going to need all the help she can get to take education to new heights in Ponyville. The only recourse she has is to regain her wings and hope that she can pass this challenge with flying colors...if she doesn't just crash and burn in the process.

Rated Teen for swearing, minor sexual humor, and Cheerilee's love of alcohol.
