One cold autumn afternoon, a blackout occurs at Canterlot High. To pass the time, Fluttershy tells her friends an old legend about a vengeful and sadistic spirit with far too many fingers. Trixie is quick to dismiss its authenticity, but the other girls are frightened by it, and there may be more truth to this story than Trixie believes.

This story is a sequel to Wallflower's Crush

Pinecone Grove is a small town many miles north of Canterlot. Rusty Nails often buys building supplies from his friend's hardware store there. The drive there is usually simple and easy, but one day, an ongoing road construction project turns it into a nightmare. Therefore, Rusty and his nephew Donald Axeblade decide to take an alternative route to Pinecone Grove, one renowned for a steep and twisty section that climbs through a mountain range. It seems like a good idea at first, but they've greatly underestimated the difficulty of "The Treacherous Way."

It's no secret that the Flower Sisters are three of the most timid ponies in Equestria. Roseluck, Daisy, and especially Lily Valley are prone to panicking and fainting at the drop of a hat. But while most ponies are familiar with their high-strung personalities, what almost nopony knows is the secret concealed beneath. The true reason for their jittery nature is dark and destructive, and comes from deep inside the underground mountain tunnel on Equestrian Route 15.

Scarlet Flames, Chrome Streak and Capri Blitz are a terrible trio. They're possibly the worst students to ever attend Crystal Prep, and were expelled shortly after Cadance became principal. They left Canterlot and made their careers as recreational racing drivers, and eventually they each had enough money to buy their own sports car. Now they've returned to Canterlot and are causing trouble once again, both on and off the road. Fed up with their antics, Twilight Sparkle aims to beat Scarlet, Chrome and Capri at their own game and put an end to their reckless behavior once and for all.

One evening, Wallflower goes to the hardware store with Sunset to pick up some seeds for her garden. There, they run into the Axeblade Twins, two guys that Sunset and her friends once mistook for ghosts. Wallflower isn't sure what to think of the twins at first, but that all changes when Douglas Axeblade reveals that he shares her interest in gardening.

Canterlot is experiencing an unusually humid summer. With the extreme humidity comes a thick fog that rolls in from the ocean. The fog makes the town look very spooky at night, and it isn't long before old ghost stories start to resurface.

One night, Applejack gets lost while driving home and sees something strange and disturbing near an old, dilapidated guest house deep in the woods. Are there ghosts on the loose in Canterlot? Or is there some other explanation?

Based on "Ghosts", one of my favorite TUGS episodes.
