I've hit another point where my mind has cracked a little.

It's never nice when it happens. As always, there was no one particular trigger. I didn't "snap" and start smashing things, I just hit another of those insidious, exhausting holes that my depression hands me. I can at least feel them coming, and understand that it's chemical and neurophysiological and that all I need to do is ride it out.

It's interesting to just arbitrarily run a Google search on an address you lived at over thirty years ago, and you discover that the house in question is currently being sold. You will find numerous photos of one of the major residences from your childhood, none of which you were really intending to see and certainly didn't expect to find. Over the years, we have collected a reasonable number of prints of artwork by the maestro himself - Salvador Dali. One of which is the Hallucinogenic Toreador (a print that's seven feet high).

Now we've moved from a house into a modest apartment ... this is proving to be difficult to handle. I think if we do hang all of the prints and include the bookshelves, it will no longer be possible to actually see any of the original walls in the building.
