The reality, for Silverstreak, is far less rose-tinted and simple. Sometimes fate is both a blessing as a curse. Sometimes you end up with far more on your plate than you or the dog you’re stuck with can chew.

Hiker, an experienced wanderer, stalker and trailblazer find's his way into the center of the Red Forest, unreachable ever since the Clear Sky faction was annihilated at the nuclear power plant and Strelok was sent back into the Zone. In it's dark reaches, he is contacted by the Forester, and through a twist of fate, ends up in the antithesis of the Zone, a land of magic and happiness. Yet not everyone wants a sedate, safe, contented life in Equestria...

In the depths of winter, a crater in the icy plains of Equestria is spotted by Canterlot's night-watch.

Two ponies are found, both deranged and mentally damaged, turning all of Canterlot's academia into turmoil, as just to how these two could appear, without any sign of what brought them, or without the fundamental power that controls all life in Equestria.
