As Prince Solaris, I have been alone for far too long. My world, my Equestria, is gone, destroyed by my own actions. I have been immortal, forced to watch as everything I once knew crumbles to dust. My body has withered and shrunken, my wings and horn broken. I am a shadow of my former self, a reminder of my failure.

I blame myself for everything, for the destruction of my world, for the death of my sister. I have been consumed by grief and sorrow for so long that I can hardly remember what it felt like to be happy.

But now, I have been given a glimmer of hope. I have been transported to an alternate version of my world, one where my counterpart, Princess Celestia, still reigns. It is hard to believe, but I cannot help but feel a spark of excitement at the thought of being able to make amends for my past mistakes.

I know that I am not the same as I once was, and that I have much to learn and to do before I can truly be a prince again. But for the first time in a long time, I have hope. And that is something I will hold onto tightly as I move forward.
