Shining Armor doesn't know much about his origin. Where he came from, who his birth parents were, how he ended up being found on the edge of the frozen north; heck, he didn't even know the name of his species until he was in the Guard Cadets. Personally, he didn't care much to find out more: He loved his parents, his sister Twilight, and especially Cadence.

Now, ripped away from his family and the support of his nation, he's gonna have to learn... Quickly.

This story is a sequel to The Broken and the Damned

A mysterious magic surge has been discovered just off the coast of Creui. Praetor Rainbow Dash is apart of the contingent sent to investigate, only to be caught in it.

At the same time, Luster Dawn has returned to Canterlot for her first Grand Galloping Gala since heading to Ponyville. While there, she demonstrates a spell that she found in the archive of the Princesses old castle.

Said spell may create a situation that neither is properly prepared for, nor even want. However, it may just be what they need...

Imperial Thought of the Day: Suffer Not the Alien to Live.

Rarity, following a somewhat rocky introduction, has become a rather welcome member of the upper classes of Canterlot. Living the dream, she eagerly accepts an invitation to an Opera in Canterlot with her new friends Viscount Fancy Pants and his wife Fleur de Lis. Especially since it means meeting a mysterious and somewhat reclusive Baroness that will also be attending.

Naturally, things grow somewhat awkward when she runs into one of her friends... and definitely not in any way she thought she might.

(Note: This is based on a head-cannon I had circa season four. We hadn't met Rainbow's parents yet, and we didn't really know all that much about many of the Mane 6's home lives. I know this isn't canon now, but I just wanted to put this on paper. Quarantine, man.)

10 years have passed since the defeat of Queen Chrysalis and the official end of Rainbow Dashs' exile. Since that day, with the exception of her sister's wedding, she hasn't set a hoof in Equestria. Finally, after much convincing, Rainbow allows her sons to sign on an exchange student-like program, where they will spend a school year in Ponyville.

How will her sons, raised in the Empire and can't even speak equish that well, react to the culture and way of life of the small Equestrian town? Better yet, how will her former friends and their families react to them?

Rainbow Dash is dead. Well, technically. After an incident a few years ago, she made a deal. The one she secretly loved was saved, but she became a Daemon. Now, she's one of the Devils Collectors; hunting down those who fail to repay their ends of agreements. What happens when she has to head back to Ponyville for a contract?

Lightning Dust. A mare who is many things. Some of these things are good things to have: Ambition, skill, determination, fearlessness. Meanwhile, others aren't so good: Lack of empathy, recklessness, careless...Even suicidal. But, why is she like this? What drives her? What is her goal in life? Why did she do what she has done. Read on, to find out.

(Lightning Dust is one of my personal favorite characters. This is my Head-Cannon reason as to why she is so reckless. Gore tag is only there to be safe, as there is a little bit of graphic descriptions, but nothing all that serious. Either way, I hope you all Enjoy!)

King Dainn and the Caribou armies are poised to launch their invasion of Equestria, starting with the Crystal empire. In preparation for the conquest, Dainn orders a few of his elite guard to kidnap a crystal mare. However, they come back with a interesting discovery.

Well, the ponies are hermaphrodites. This, naturally, complicates matters.

(Important Note: I do NOT like FoE stories. I just don't. However, I DO love the story 'Going Native', by Gyvon. And while reading that, this just popped into my head. So yeah, please don't complain too much.)

Twilight hoped that mare-do-well would teach Rainbow to be humble. Instead, she leaves; just leaves. When they find her later, she lashes out at them. When even the Princess fails to mend fences between them, she along with the rest of the mane 6 attempt drastic action to fix their friendship. An accident during this leaves to Rainbow heavily wounded and with few supplies, in the hostile and merciless lands outside Equestria. Can she rebuild her life? Maybe make something more? Or will she fall, starving, thirsty, wounded, far from home, broken, and abandoned?
