2 weeks ago, the other doctor was all, 'actually, you have mono. Antibiotics won't help, just sleep it off for a couple weeks.'

The day after that, the other doctor was all, 'actually, hang on, you don't have mono after all, and you do have something antibiotics will help. So take these other antibiotics. And all these other pills to deal with your other symptoms.'

I am home!

And also very ill. Which actually started while I was still away--fortunately, I got really lucky and my discount hotel had a very comfortable bed that I could lie in while my stomach tried to secede from the rest of me--but it's still persisting. I'll be around intermittently at best until my bug clears up.

Looks like I've got one more trip in me this year (though this time it's just for a weekend getaway--I work in the region). Usual routine, I'll be back in a few days. Have fun!

And it was awesome! I saw virtually everything I wanted to, including:

* A muay thai match at the famous Ratchadamnoen Stadium, with ringside seats. That was pretty epic.
* The colossal weekend market at Chatuchak, where I bought some neat gifts for my family

Sitting in the airport terminal now, waiting for the plane to board. I'll be back in about 10 days. Don't know if I'll have reliable access to Internet (or any access to Internet) in Bangkok, so in case I don't--see you all later!

Colds suck.
