2. NaNoWriMo is done. For me at least. The story is kinda crap (like 75% filler), but it's done.

3. I have selected what concept I'm going to develop into my next project. Hopefully it will not stretch quite as long as A Delicate Balance did.

1. My NaNoWriMo novel is currently over halfway complete. It also sucks because it's mostly talking and exposition, but that's largely because I'm making it up as I go.

2. The Mario Kart 8 DLC is well worth the money.

3. I decided to reread Homestuck for some reason, and I've now read it enough times that I actually have some idea what's going on.

When I started writing this way back when, I had no idea what it was going to turn into. If I remember right, I had all of one story published here, and maybe like a dozen followers, half of which were just people who I already knew anyway. I submitted the first chapter of this story to Equestria Daily basically on a whim, wondering if it could make it in, and somehow it did. But the real surprise was the response.

So, I've finally finished the first draft of chapter 36, the final chapter of A Delicate Balance. Given that this chapter has to cap off a story that's nearly 300K words long, I'll naturally want to take a few days to smooth it out, but holy crap. It's so surreal to think that the story is, for the most part, complete. There's still editing, but the actual process of writing the story is done. After spending so long working on it, it's going to feel really weird not doing so.
