  Arm good, Neck bad.

  Fourth week of therapy.

  Arm's in decent shape, doc says there's no reason I won't be able to work because of it by the end of the week.

  My neck, on the other hand, is. It's confirmed. My vertebrae are in the process of fusing. They're going to use ultrasound to try and stop the process and stimulate healing in the capsule joint, starting on Thursday. If that doesn't show positive results by the end of next week, I -will- need surgery.

  Therapy for the week update

  Last update, this week. Completed my last day of therapy for the week.

  More good news, bad news.

  My arm is healing nicely, but not fast enough to clear me to work. Next week is for certain, but the range of motion is still too limited in the doc's opinion. Another week of sleeping on an ice pack, yay.

  Bureacracy and Insurance Companies Suck

  Bad news again, this week. Well, bad, sort of good.

  The other insurance company denied the claim. My lawyer is speaking with theirs, to try and get a settlement just one more time, but it's looking like it will head to lawsuit country, or making a claim against my insurance.

  The good news there is my insurance company gave me a call over the weekend to talk about my options.

  Legal Update - Bad News

  Update to the Legal Side.

  Bad, bad news. The other guy's insurance is denying the claim, stating that there's no proof their insured was driving the vehicle.

  My attorney has assured me there are a bevy of options, but this is still bad news as it makes the case much more difficult, and thus, highly consumptive of both money and time.

  Week 3 of Emergency Mode

  Third week of therapy. Good news, bad news, worse news day.

  Good news - arm is recovering, but slowly. Tape rash and bandage burn are going to be my new best friends for at least a few more weeks.

  Bad news - Strained capsule in the C5-C6 vertebrae is being stubborn, limiting motion and causing my headaches. Doc's putting me on percussion therapy to try and loosen it up, but he wasn't too confident. This one might be the one that keeps me in therapy the longest.
