After the Apple Family found out about the Apple and the Pear history and the Friendship Journal, everything was back to normal except something bad happens to one of the Apple Family and her closest friend think it's her fault.

After Applejack and her siblings discovered the truth behind their family’s past especially their parent’s, they welcome Grand Pear, who was their maternal grandfather and also Pear Butter’s father, to their family. While the Apple-Pear Family are having fun together, one of them was not and Twilight wants to know why her best friend is so upset.
