Eris is dying. The Surgeon has to save her while all of reality collapses. Little does he know he's about to become a part of something so much greater than himself. The world is dying.

Inkjet is a reporter. Scarlet Whip is a famous zebra pornstar partly responsible for the so called Striping craze, something that has made her into a very rich mare. She never allows anyone to interview her outside of the magazine she works for, and yet, Inkjet gets the chance to do just that. He isn't famous, he isn't with a big paper, but this is the chance of a lifetime.

Summer Sorrows comes face to face with the fierce Canterlot Ripper, and from there, things only go down hill.
