Winter, 1011, the Longswordian Governate, aided by the Kingdom of Hellquill invades the Lakelands, Lake City is the main battlefield. Volunteers from across the Coalition deploy to meet them in battle. And from their number, many heroes will be forged in this otherwise small conflict. In the south of Lake City, several miles from the border, a small town by the name of Blevik was the target of an elite Longswordian Jaeger Regiment. While not particularly important in peace times, Blevik’s location was strategic to the war effort by providing a straight path to the capital. As the Jaegers swept in and took the town for themselves, they were unaware they just walked into the Devil’s Lair…

Deep in the forests and wilderness of the River Coalition, a squad of Griffon saboteurs raid the countryside in preparation for a larger invasion. Little did they know however, as they pillage and murder their way through the forested hamlets, a predator of a different breed is on the hunt, and he’s just caught their scent…

This is a tale of warrior of a foreign land, far to the east. It is a tale redemption, a tale of anguish, and a tale about how even the most unlikeliest of circumstances can change the life of an individual, who all he wanted was the one thing he thought he could never have…the love of friends and family, and a sense of belonging in his life.
