Spike and Twilight have a strong friendship, more so than any of her other friends. They have been with each other since she hatched him as a young filly.

Now, Twilight is an Alicorn, thinking about all of what her friends have done to bring her where she is now, and when Spike crosses her mind, she thinks back to when they first got to know each other—when an amazing friendship started between unicorn and baby dragon. She soon realizes just how much he meant to her.

It all started with simple rainy weather, a friendly gesture on a stormy night. Though simple, it soon creates a chain of events that bring two friends closer than either expected. Like dominoes falling, one after the other—even if there are some bumpy obstacles in their path.

While you don't have to know about the show - though some jokes will be hit and miss if not I guess - if you haven't watched it, you clearly need to get yourself a DVD or something and watch it. You've been missing out, man.

Rarity is leaving to pursue her career out of town, leaving behind her parents—and her sister. Sweetie Belle wants more than anything to have her stay, but her decision stands. There are words to say, though, to settle things.

Set a few years before the show. Inspired by an experience I will no doubt have when I leave my family—especially my sister—for college.
