I've got a worldbuilding post up: and linked on the Patreon. It's about how the magic system in Versus operates! Note that, like Trixieverse magic, it's ambiguous in certain ways but allows for good storytelling by observing things about the system. I've got a broad view of many possible conflicts between arisen Versus species, thanks to looking at how the magic system operates. For instance, did you know that Dog magic has a powerful masking
Tales Of Versus is officially underway.
April 1st seems as good a time as any to launch such an odd undertaking. If you'd like to read about it, feel free. Turner, Shana, Shadowed: I'll be putting the 'show bible' stuff up there, and you shall have the info you were talking about on the Versus minecraft server.
It'll probably pick up some speed once I've got 'Precious' finished. I'd better get back to that now
So yeah, none of the things I tried to do to save myself worked.
I've relaunched Counterpart but that probably broke it worse, so it will probably never be a thing. The plugin stuff is pretty dead and it doesn't seem to matter whether I do it or not, though I got probably a couple months out of trying.
Counterpart: Playable Early Access
So here's the thing: I will be able to do at least one chapter a month. But so long as I've written a video game and put weeks of work into it and put it on Steam Greenlight, I'm pretty much compelled to try and follow through with it. It's that 'finishing things I start' thing, and you know how I am about that.
Counterpart is now on Steam Greenlight!
This is pretty exciting. I've been cranking away SO hard to try and make this happen, and it is! So long as people find it at least as interesting as crummy asset flips, it might even make it to Steam.
“Oh!” squeaked Fluttershy. “It’s you!” She turned to call behind her, “It’s Rainbow Dash! Not her!”
Rainbow blinked in surprise as the news got two zebra yays, quite plain to hear.
Fluttershy turned again. “Thank goodness you’re here! I’m kind of tired and sore, and we’re doing our best but it just, I, um… Rainbow Dash, could you do me a teensy weensy favor and borrow one of my zebras?”
Dash boggled at her.
I'm afraid I need to ask for another week to do the next chapter of Precious. So much has been happening, and it's not slowing down, and I have no idea how I'm not flipping out at this point. I guess the fainting couch awaits. I think next week I'll have more time to write and can resume with Dash spending the night at Fluttershy's and the events of the next morning.
There is, however, a reason!
