In the span of a month, Chapter 5 has been struck with a huge amount of changes, all of them positive. You might recall that I said this in Chapter 4’s notes:
”...it isn't shaping up to be quite as long as 4.”
In the interest of keeping y'all up-to-date with the progress of Of Shadows, I'm going to start publishing a blog update monthly, each after two weeks in or so. I'll ensure that the important info (story updates) is at the top, while extra stuff I want to talk about will be below, in case you aren't interested in reading any of that. So, onward to my first "official" update!
CHAPTER 5 PROGRESS:
Stage: Exiting concept, entering first draft
Well... a lot has happened since my last update!
First: I got a new full-time job! I'm very satisfied with the position I've landed; it shouldn't cut into my writing much (if at all), and will give me plenty of time to listen to music and reflect on the story. I'm actually pretty excited to start, because as soon as I get my first paycheck, I'm going to buy Breath of the Wild! I've been waiting three years to play it, and it looks glorious.

Hi! Thanks for taking a moment to read this, even if you only read a few lines and continue on. I don't plan on doing a ton of blog-style posts; when I post one, it's going to be for something important. I don't really want to clutter your Feed with irrelevant ramblings.
