Hassled wherever she goes by ponies who insist on seeing her as the town trollop, in reality she simply wants to make friends and have a nice, fun time. Hoping to get Ponyville to see her as the mare she really is, Cloud Kicker hires one of Manehattan's foremost image consultants.

This is not a Winningverse story. That's kind of the point.

To celebrate moving into her new castle, Twilight holds a slumber party for her friends. Spike is ill with dragonpox, so Fluttershy decides to invite someone else to make up the numbers. Twilight is not best pleased with her friend's choice...

Joint runner-up in the July 2014 UK of Equestria fanfic contest, which had the theme "Slumber Party".

They say that there are many Equestrias, some very like our own and some so different that we could not even begin to comprehend them. Here, you may discover what became of one such world, on which the new Queen of the defeated changeling army fell in love with a stallion from Tall Tale, himself an outsider in his own city. The tragic story of Raspberry Ripple is, indeed, among the strangest there is to tell.

Rainbow Dash moved into Ponyville's Cloud House on her birthday. She never expected things to turn out like that; it's a long way down from Cloudsdale, after all. But like so much else in Rainbow's life, Fluttershy had a great deal to do with it. Not that her shy friend could have known that when she made a single choice long before.

Rarity knows her way around the landscape of romance and heartbreak, and that includes being there to help out when a friend's relationship falls apart without warning. She can deal with the fact that it's Twilight who's sobbing wildly on her shoulder, even if it is a bit on the damp side. She's rather more taken aback when she discovers just who the new Princess has been getting herself involved with...

I know few of Ponyville's inhabitants ever really came to terms with the idea that a gentle pegasus mare should form a lifelong bond of friendship and understanding with an irascible pet buck. It was strange, I'll admit, but it worked – and we always knew that it was right. I didn't like to think about the march of time, about what the passing years might mean for a rabbit. Now, though, I have no other choice. As memories crowd in, the future looms before me, demanding an answer.

Review: PresentPerfect

This is a collection of poetry, each poem being based on an episode of the show itself. My aim is to write a poem for each and every episode, so this is a long-term project. Some of the poems are inspired by real-life verses, while others are just for fun. I've tried to vary structure a bit from poem to poem, so I hope there'll be plenty of variety.

Note: I've done the best I can on the tags, so apologies for the lack of (for example) an Adventure tag. I can't help that, as the site won't allow both that and Slice of Life on the same work. In truth, the tagging system here can't really cope with a very varied collection like this.
