I love this video, because it highlights why undermining powerful threats in your narrative by either arbitrarily making them incompetent or treating them like a joke is an extremely bad idea, especially if you want any semblance of legitimately serious stakes in that same narrative... and it's flipping hilarious.

Nowadays I'm very, very skeptical of new movies- often because my dread is proven correct once the films come out -and I am noticing some possible narrative red flags here that are obvious enough to me. But since the Sonic movie was a decently pleasant surprise despite having the same sort of premise, I'm cautiously intrigued about this one.
