Radiant Gold, Starry Love, and Moonlight Sonata were triplet alicorns. They had 500 years of wisdom and magic under their belts. Radiant and Starry were in the Training Room of their crystal castle. They had a lot of magic, Starry alone had more magic than the entire population of Equestria combine. They also just happened to wield the Elements of Harmony. Everypony loves them!
