It is a sad day in the world with the passing of Robin Williams. He is by far one of my favorite actors known for his wit and energy in his comedies and serious roles. Now the world has grown darker a little with his absence.

As you've probably seen, my latest story A Rare Gem has been very slow going. Now part of it is due to the busyness of life, but it is also due to just struggling to find the right way to say what I want to for this tale.

So I plan to put the fic on a temporary hiatus. Why? Because I have other tales to tell that I think I can write faster and better for you. (Last I checked I have 14 ideas that I want to write about during the course of the series, not counting A Rare Gem)

first of all, I want to apologize for me not getting out my latest fanfic "A Rare Gem" out in any semblance of order. I recently got a job (yay!) which means I have limited time to do other things like write fanfiction. Hopefully when weekends aren't busy I will continue with it. Having limited time means also not seeing many total fanfics, but I'm trying to pare down my favorites and go from there.

I'm really excited to see the new Season of My Little Pony. Hopefully this will add to more ideas for fanfics I'm writing. Speaking of fanfics, I'm going to be taking the week off due to Thanksgiving. In December, I plan to write a cute story for Hearth's Warming (Christmas). Well, I saw My Little Pony: Equestria Girls a few days ago in theaters. I must say I really loved it as it fit into the show's canon very nicely.

But now this has my creative wheels turning, thinking about a story that I guess you could say is a reversed version of Equestria Girls. What does that mean? Well, not to be too spoilery, but in Equestria Girls Twilight Sparkle goes through a portal and into a world where she is a human. Of course she goes back to being a pony in the end.
