Cutie mark crusaders: taking time away from the mane six before starlight and the young six made it cool

Emi "Ember" Hakike is not the largest or strongest of the Crystal Perp girls, but hey, that never stopped anybody else.

When hockey season comes to Canterlot City, she's ready to put her skills on the ice to good use and prove her dad wrong. She's prepared for anything the Ice can throw at her.

Except for maybe overly affectionate and clumsy goaltenders, a shrill-voiced jack-of-all-trades, (metophorical) demons after her family, morally dubious drifters, morally dubious headmasters, morally dubious teammates, and a kind-of rivalry with an overly competitive uber-athlete who also has someone to prove herself to.

Oh, and there's also the occasional racist joke here and there.

Cancelled and currently being rewritten

Takes place squarely in between Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games

Rated T for occasional racial or sexual humor that would fly over the head of a younger audience.

Pinkie has always been the "odd" one out of her group, what with all her weird tendencies, weird thoughts and occasional moments where she Talks to nothing breaks the fourth wall.

But her friends have always just tried to leave her alone and not really question it, knowing that she means well and wouldn't be the element of laughter if she didn't

But when she blows up the dock at Camp Everfree after just having rebuilt it for the something like the fourth time, that's when thing start getting a little...iffy.

And Fluttershy agrees.

Sometimes, magic (and life in general) has a funny way of making one realize they're not perfect.

Originally, Sunburst was nothing more to Gilda than a self-appointed tutor, just someone to help her life get back on track after so many years of running herself into the ground.

However, one offer to hang out outside of their sessions turns their relationship into something much more as they realize they have more in common with each other, and soon begin to realize how much they need each other.

These are their stories, as they go through life, love, friends, family, and everything in between.
