Pain is rising again, but HS chapter 39 is in its final editing phase. I just need to get it past that. I finally cut through some of my block by writing het fic that will never see the light of day-- or at least not for several hundred thousand words of successor fic. And even then, I'd better ONLY publish it as a part of the longer series, or the internet hate will reach through the monitor to strangle me.

Yesterday, several huge flaws with my initial chapter 1 came to light and I had to tear it apart into two chapters. I'm repairing the gaps left in the initial gym scene, and chapter 2 should be up tomorrow, unless, y'know, I have another self-censorship flail berserk gaaaaaaah moment.

But what are the odds of that?

Trying to break it into more manageable chunks. Sorry the end is a bit of a cloptease as a result; this one's spread over four chapters, and this one got a bit truncated thereby.
