Ok like the title says, its about Original characters in stories and why I am reluctant when a story is labeled with this.

There times where a story is named to represent a character that is Canon like sunset shimmer but there is an OC that has significant role that challenges the role of main character in terms of screen time, development and involvement of a story. To be blunt about it I don't like stories that places significance of someone who is unknown to the reader.
