The Royal Canterlot Library curators will be running a panel at this year's BronyCon. To quote the announcement:
We're going to determine the greatest MLP fanfic ever written through what I'm sure will be highly scientific and objective processes, for a very serious and legally binding prize.

Perhaps the best thing about this fandom is our ability to make differences in the lives of others. It is really quite amazing how often and how quickly we can do this. Just this year, we've essentially saved Illya Leonov's life and helped Wanderer D get his own life back on track.

I have been struggling to pay small amounts of the thousands of dollars I owe.
On behalf of myself and Ponyfeather Publishing, I am pleased to announce the release of my new ebook. The thirteen stories within are guaranteed as the very beast of Horse Voice—all killer, no filler.
I just got home from a tough day, and what do you suppose I saw when I checked my feed?
About three hours ago, MagnetBolt related a perfect storm of problems that might have been the end of him. Out of options, he set up a GoFundMe.
He asked for $3,000. It's now at $5,110.
