To be completely honest, I strongly dislike blogging. First of all, I dislike talking about myself. Blogging especially feels narcissistic to me. I also dislike feeling pressured to do things because someone (especially those I don't know) expects me to. So I don't blog much.

Long story short I was on vacation!
I went somewhere without my laptop or internet for quite a while. And so despite being not busy with school, no updates.

That said, it isn't all bad news! This gave me some time to do some much needed brainstorming for later parts of the story. I will return to working on Desperate Journals as soon as I post this. Hopefully the next update will come soon(tm). I actually already have quite a bit written, but it doesn't feel quite finished yet.

The semester is over, and I have returned! There should be a new entry for Desperate Journals up later today!

As the title suggests, for the time being I have given up on About a Stone. I might come back to it later, but probably not. Life has a way of obstructing writing time, and the inspiration I once had to write AaS is now gone. Instead, I now have a new idea I want to work on. I have more confidence that I will actually finish this one. I have done significantly more prep work on this story, and I have high hopes that it will turn out well.
