Discord never betrayed Equestria for Tirek, aiding in returning the magic to all the drained unicorns. As a result, Celestia deems him ready of a "small" gift: The Archduchy of the Everfree, technically making him the highest noble under the princesses.

Naturally, this shocks everypony, including Discord himself. Now of course his lands will some have some chaotic magic and strange laws in effect, but that doesn't mean he doesn't take the noble thing a little seriously. Why is anypony's guess, but it'll be entertaining to watch.

Celestia brings the Statue of Discord to Ponyville with the wary intention of releasing him, as per a mysterious deal negotiated between Discord and the alicorn sisters. With the ancient war between Harmony and Discord now officially over, with the Chaos God curious over his own defeat, both sides most decide what to do now. Can Discord make a place for himself among ponykind or will he leave Equestria entirely?

It'll at least be interesting with the reluctant supervision and aid of the six who defeated him, Discord actually putting forth some effort, and Celestia personally keeping an eye on everything.

Who is Discord? Where did he come from? How did he get so powerful? Why did he unleash a reign of Chaos over young Equestria?

After defeating the Tantabus, Princess Luna is visited in her dreams by a batpony. He claims to be Discord yet acts very different from him. In the waking world, Discord's explanation leaves her shocked.

The Alicorn of the Night is about to get a front row seat to unraveling the mysterious past of Discord. Aided by none other than Discord's Masks, the mindsets and personalities from his past. However, what she and others find are more than just answers:

After the Smarty Pants incident, Twilight revisited one subject of books that she never did master: Self-help books. This time, its working! And with new things open to her, Twilight decides to liven up her life a bit.

And what better way to hit the track galloping than by pranking Pinkie Pie?

Her changes will bring both amusement and concern from her loved ones, wondering if they should be worried something is wrong or just happy she's enjoying herself. Because, either way, they got to admit its funny that Pinkie Pie thinks Twilight is reading her mind.

Slightly OOC Twilight, but that's the entire premise.

Timing is Season Three, Post-Sombra but Pre-Alicorn

Koumapan is in a warring age of unrest and division, clans fighting clans, as the strength of the Shogunate crumbles. The fighting seems never ending, clans rising and fallings like the tides. Yet two new players might just mix up the usual games.

Princess Celestia and Luna of Equestria mysteriously find themselves transported to Koumapan, a land they had never heard of. Under the watchful eye of the Muchitsujo Clan, they will find new friends and enemies. And with them come very familiar faces. Faces that don't recognize the alicorns at all.

Rationalizing their world, along with the friends and enemies they knew with this alternate reality will prove both alarming and enchanting. Yet who brought them to this world, and why? And will they ever lay eyes on their Equestria again?

Just for Harmony and the Sisters, Discord decided to take things a bit seriously the second time around.

Now seemingly unopposable on his Chaos Throne, King Discord has all of Equestria at his clawtips.

His very first decree? The very first royal act of chaos? The moment that may define his reign?

Wait, what?

Discord's reign will be filled with surprises, chief being how the draconequus is far from malevolent to those in his lands, despite what the ponies have been told. It seems that while Equestria belongs to Discord now, but he does play(mostly) responsibly.

And as time goes on, the appeal of Chaos can worm its way into most any heart.

Tirek does not get Discord's magic. Unexpectedly, neither does Discord. Instead, it heads off to a new host, one currently lacking her usual magic and in dire need of some. Why her? Who knows! Discord doesn't, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like what he sees.

Celestia is now Equestria's local reality warping creature of Chaos. And she's rather good at it. Thankfully, she's still the Celestia they all know and love. So, as long as her friends and family give her a little nudge whenever she gets a little too crazy, things should work out fine. Right?

Cadence is used to helping ponies with romance problems. So when she finds out that Discord and Celestia's past is basically an ancient love tragedy, she goes out of her way to give them a happy ending, or a new beginning at the least.

As Ponies and Changelings alike come together to track down Chrysalis, the ponies will come to learn more about the world at large. A world filled with many potential allies and enemies, of various creatures and beliefs. A world that they can no longer ignore, intentional or not, leaving Twilight and her friends to figure out who is friend and who is foe.

BSGS: Birthday Scenario Games Stories: Taking your birthday, or a character's birthday/premier date, putting it into the numerous Birthday Scenario Games, and trying to make a story out of the insane results. Mine turned out an alicorn because of that, despite trying to avoid that. Not a Gary Stu or a self insert.

Verdant Flare. To the castle staff and guard, he's a strange unicorn that showed up not long after Princess Luna's return. To a very select few, for now, he's known as the Alicorn Son of Celestia, returned from wandering and exploring. To the Mane 6, he's a pony with less social skills than Twilight Sparkle.

But no one seems to know anything about him: Where he's been, when he was born, why he left, or even who the father is. The answers will be more confusing than shocking, sans the final one.
