“It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value.”

After several nights of studious reading, numerous attempts of puzzle-solving, and prophetic dreams, Twilight manages to unlock the secrets of space travel by using portals. But such powerful magic has a price as the safeguards used to keep Equestria from powerful cosmic dangers are now being torn away. For the moment the portal was open, a new menace has emerged and havoc soon followed. Twilight and her friends attempt to save the day and stop this threat but it was to no avail. The Elements were scattered, the Mane Six vanished, and the entirety of reality was torn apart in a single moment.

But all was not lost.

Twilight was rescued by a mysterious group that was hiding outside of space and time, a place on the edge of Limbo. They are the ones that deal with the most dangerous, mysterious, and oldest magical objects in existence. And they have a mission for Twilight. A way for her to set things right and to undo the destruction of her timeline and her Equestria. It is, however, a perilous mission. One that will take Twilight to places and dangers once thought of as unknown. Nevertheless, Twilight agrees to help. To do anything to save her friends. 

So the unicorn is sent across the universe to another world. It is a place of joyful beauty and darkest nightmares. A place of countless legends It is a place devoid of harmonic magic. A pale blue dot in the universe called Earth. 

The mission is simple in concept. Find her friends and get them off of this world. Never lose sight of the mission and nothing should go wrong.

But when Twilight arrives on this Earth, something strange is happening. It seems that this the moment when the collective civilians of Earth known as humans start to make the first contact with another life form. An energy anomy is forming in the ocean and a message of peace is being projected from across the stars. Twilight doesn't buy it. She believes that whoever took her friends is now looking for her on Earth and is putting humanity under the threat from very dangers that destroyed her Equestria.

Her opinion changes however when she caught wind that the arriving force is none rather than Equestria itself!

Or it seems to be Equestria. Twilight is also concluding that this might be the alternate timeline of Equestria. The one in which she actually made a stable portal and made contact with these aliens. But alternate timeline or not, the moment this Equestria arrives a chain reaction of unfortunate incidents creates the perfect situation for one of the worst attributes of nearly all living things. War.

Some malicious force out there is manipulating the two species into fighting. The very thing that took the Elements of Harmony and Twilight's friends.

Hiding amongst the humans as one of them and befriending a couple of them, Twilight must now figure out a way to save her friends, prevent the two worlds from going to war and find out who this third party that is playing both sides against each other is. She must find a way to end this sinister plan. If she fails, it could result in her timeline and her world being permanently lost forever. The mission will be dangerous.

Twilight would have to use all her wits, skills, and even forbidden artifacts of the utmost destructive nature in order to succeed in saving her friends, her species, and even the future of her entire world. This is a quest of tribulation.

The Tribulations of Earth.

It seems like a curse.

Wallflower is living a peaceful life in the big city. It is a place of comfort for her. A place for her to grow. But the place she has chosen is expensive and requires another person to help pay for the rent and utilities. It wouldn't be a problem for her except that every six months when the lease needs to be renewed, the roommate leaves for one reason or another and they never speak to her again. It has been like this for the past couple of years for Wallflower. The constant loneliness and stress of being abandoned. She needs a friend that she can be important for. One who would help her and make her feel wanted. Alas, it feels pointless for Wallflower to try. Everyone she knows eventually leaves her.

Then one night, Wallflower decides to go out and just relax. Enjoy the coming summer. It was during this night that she bumps into Sunset Shimmer, an old friend she hasn't talk to in a while. Turns out Sunset has been displaced and is looking for a place to stay.

So Wallflower offers her place to stay for the summer. But with each month that passes by, the two of them grow closer together. Will Wallflower be able to keep Sunset when the inevitable happens and they are forced apart? Will they be able to upgrade their relationship to something beyond just friends? Is there a way for Wallflower to break this curse?

Only time will tell.

On this winter night, these two friends help each other out after a long day of overworking themselves to make a perfect Hearth's Warming season for their community. And soon they get to enjoy the little things that make their friendship and this season special.

Sweetie Belle just had the best winter vacation in the Crystal Empire. She got to meet her colleagues from International Magic University, spent a day with Flurry Heart, and have a blast with all the festivals. But all good things have to come to an end and it was time for Sweetie Belle to return home for the holidays. But then things took a wrong turn.

After missing a train, Sweetie Belle was left stranded in the middle of a winter wasteland, the nearest town miles away. Freezing, Sweetie Belle tries to find shelter or help. Only to be nearly killed by a yeti beast. Only through sheer luck did Sweetie Belle manage to escape by jumping into a small hole in the ground. This secret tunnel led to a lost cave in which a mysterious being resided. This creature is the custodian of a long, lost race.

After securing her a shelter, this custodian offered Sweetie Belle a deal into learning about the magic of his lost master from beyond the stars. Sweetie Belle is hesitant. Such magic would be interesting but it is being kept from her from this mysterious being. But as Sweetie Belle debates, a new threat is emerging. Something that might put all of Equestria in danger. Soon, Sweetie Belle will have to make a choice. And that choice might have a price she will have to pay.

Set in the same universe as Autumn Scarlet but not a direct sequel. So, you can read this one first if you like.
Happy First Day of Winter!

It was supposed to be a normal trip into the Everfree Forest for Apple Bloom. She had been through this trek many times as a filly. Yet on this fateful autumn evening, Apple Bloom took a wrong turn and ended up being nearly killed by a raging manticore. Injured and left for dead, Apple Bloom was rescued by a mysterious creature.

It was made to be to the custodian of the last remains of a long lost race. It has been tasked to do whatever it takes to carry out its creator's last will. So when Apple Bloom stumbled upon its hiding spot, it did the only thing it could and bringing her to its layer to save her.

This story was my entry in Two Bit's Autumn Pony to Human TF story contest last year, only modify and expanded some more. Totally forgot about it until recently. Figures now would be a perfect time to publish it. Happy First Day of Autumn, everyone!
