I saw the MLP Movie the other night at a 10:45 pm show. The cinema was empty... just me, a dear friend and waaaay at the back there was a 20-ish year old pone fan. No children, comfy reclining chairs and a big paper cup of coffee.

With three, maybe four, chapters to go I'm struggling with Dæling With Yt.

I have three scenes written so far in the latest chapter and I'm dissatisfied with them. I've been beating my head against them for many days and I'm still unhappy. So I've spent the last two or three days on other non-writing things and stuck DwY on a back-burner. What I've realized is that it's probably not this chapter which is the problem.

I frequently find myself reading other author's posts on my feed and spending quite a while writing a response, only to either delete it completely or whittling it down to a spare paragraph or two that don't say what I want to say. It's frustrating to self-censor and end up being mostly silent when you have so much to say that may be helpful for someone else.

I might be going to college. Again.

A few weeks ago I stumbled over a new course being offered by my old alma-mater: Creative Writing & Publishing. I was curious if I could even qualify so I applied, spent a weekend writing the required five pages of story and poetry samples and submitted them. They got back to me yesterday with a 'firm offer' to take the course.

So now I have to decide if I really want to.

My head editor demands that I cease typing immediately and apply the required petting and attention as is her due.

Dirt Nap's problems seemed to be straightforward. The intense anxiety and curiosity that Pinkie Pie's tale had caused him reminded Noctilucent of peace loving ponies attending a public execution: Fearful and disgusted, but unwilling to look away. It was quite plain that he must be a virgin.
