Twilight discovered a new spell that took all of her friends, Spike and the CMC to Yokai Academy and they can turn into there ponyselfs and thats there monster forms. But they have there elements and they don't need the others to active them either.
The mane six have finally grown apart and had kids of their own.Twilight still lives in her castle with Discord and her two daughters.Rarity lives with Double Diamond and her two daughters and is trying to move to Canterlot.Pinkie, AJ, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have theirs too.
