In all her years as an author A.K Yearling has had one foe, whom neither she nor her alter ego Daring Do could defeat. It's vile plans so unpredictable and powerful she could only nudge it hoping it would give in. But it never has, for it's infinite skills and powers hobble the great author and explorer at each turn. It's cunning eyes watching her every move planning the perfect time and place to strike. A statuary store in the middle of nowhere, a fashionista with forgotten memories, and a place outside of time. A big break, a damaged road, the travelers stone shows a way. Now watch as long lost memories return to one purple maned unicorn. For this way was a bypass from the old road, one that only the very lucky or truly mad are able to find. Along this road are many things, some best left alone in their home of stone.

This piece is much more about the implied horror and the why, it does start getting weird fast near the end of chapter two.

A story of an unusual epidemic that seemingly randomly turns ponies into billy goats right around the time of the annual Equestrian Open in Ponyville, and the efforts to curb or solve this by an illustrious scientist and her lovely assistant dragon and her friends.

What happens when the cutie mark crusaders decide to skip school in favor of searching for their cutie marks in Truancy, Rebellion, and general Mischief?
Well the answer is an adventure full of chase scenes, hiding, assorted antics, and one really determined Truancy Pony whose sole purpose is to bring back those fillies, and make them stay after school.

Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo are not exactly fond of that idea, and will try their hardest to successfully skip school.

Set before the CMC got their cutie marks, pre Alicorn Twilight Sparkle, and after Too Many Pinkies.

Ever wondered how a Timberwolf thinks? What goes through it's mind, is it intelligent, wise, in control, mad, feral, instinctual?
What if it's a bit of everything, I mean when the only thing that can really end you is fire or losing all potential material to regrow your body over and over and over, well I guess you could go from sane to mad to feral eventually. Especially since you effectively run on wild magic, well I guess losing that would end you too.

The only question is did they start that way? Or once, long ago, were they and thier kind something more. Something that has long since been forgotten, and what if one day far from then and closer to now something changed. What if they could get it all back? Would one be able to grasp it at all, and how would the world react to savage beasts revealing what they were once, and who made them change.
