Death is a preferable alternative to communism.

Sablewing the Wicked, a black-hearted dragon with an immunity to magic, invades Canterlot with his army of diamond dogs, goblins, and kobolds. As they attempt to defend their kingdom, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are captured and imprisoned by the foul reptile, and he proceeds to take over the entire city. A rescue attempt made by Princess Cadence and Twilight Sparkle is then performed, and immediately thwarted, resulting in their capture as well.

Having used the Elements of Harmony to save the Tree of Harmony recently, and being one pony short of using them anyhow, Twilight Sparkle's friends find themselves in the worst predicament imaginable. After raiding the library in the Castle of the Two Sisters in search of an answer to their problem, they happen upon, and then proceed to use a spell that shoots out into the multiverse in search of brave, suitable heroes to combat this monster.

Answering the call, four strange characters come forth: The Green Knight, Orange Knight, Red Knight, and Blue Knight; each powerful warriors in their own separate rights, who have honed their expertise in the field of beating the ever-living crap out of anything that has the sheer balls to simply be standing in their way.

Having been bored out of their minds in their home dimension (and being threatened that they would never return should they decide not to help), the four knights jump to the challenge to RIP AND TEAR and rescue some more princesses. They set off, weapons and sandwiches in hand, to kick some monster butt, crash some castles, and take names as violently as physically possible!

...Oh, and a certain mailmare with strabismus joins along on the mad adventure.

Rated T for scenes of gore, swearing, and an overdose of testosterone poisoning

This story is a sequel to Two Changelings, in a World of Foes

Skia, Thoraxis's adopted daughter, is missing. To make matters worse, after her encounter with the wretched Vile Faux, Skia's memories have been taken from her, permanently, and to the point that she no longer even knows her own name, much less her father. To make matters irrevocably worse, a year has now passed, and she remains gone without a trace.

Thoraxis and his friends continue to search for her without pause, though their hopes dwindle less and less with every passing day. Thoraxis blatantly refuses to give up, and his unremitting effort begins to take its toll on his health, convincing his girlfriend, Petra, to try and get him to relax, for a short while at the very least.

Lo and behold, the Theatre Metamorphoses, a traveling theater well known for visiting random villages at unexpected times, pulls in to perform at Ponyville for the month, making it their first appearance in over twenty years. Their leader, the young but enchanting Madam Odyssia Metamorphoses, enthralls the crowd with her cast's singing and reciting of favored tales of yore. The theater's popularity even attracts many characters from out of town, all coming to witness the spectacle.

While they entertain the masses, among the festivities Thoraxis begins to suspect something. His senses, paranoid or not, start telling him that something is off with the show and its cast. Something familiar about their mysterious and enigmatic aura. Something too off and familiar and mysterious for him to be comfortable with...

Ponyville's resident changeling begins to investigate the playwrights and actors, sniffing for any clues as to who they could be, while one, particular member of the theater seems to take some form of interest in him.

Only then does the theater's motto really hit Thoraxis.

"The Theatre Metamorphoses has come to town, so while you can come bask in our wondrous sheen! Our acting may be real to some, but never forget, that things are rarely as they seem..."

This story is a sequel to One Changeling, in a World of Foes

Warning! Early story. Bad grammar inbound!
Several seasons have gone by since Thoraxis decided to stay in Ponyville, and life there, surprisingly for the most part, has been pleasant for him. He has made a few friends, love is easy to acquire and devour, and everything seems to be, for the first time in his life, easy and without worry.

Skia, Thoraxis's adopted, changeling daughter, senses something that may be missing in her foster father's life. He states, as the history books do, that changelings can only feed off love, and cannot feel or experience it for themselves. Always the young one with an ambition to change history, Skia undertakes the task to prove the facts wrong, and, much to Thoraxis's ire, she successfully sets him up on a blind date in the Crystal Empire.

Only, heh, there's one, eensy-weensy, teeny-tiny, minuscule problem with the date he's sent to meet.

She's a wyvern.

Oh, and not long before setting the date up, Skia encounters a strange, injured creature, from another realm entirely, in the middle of the Everfree Forest, and another adventure is found with it.

But not all is well. Unbeknownst to anypony, Vile Faux, a changeling so evil, twisted, depraved, and despised that he was cast out of the changeling hive, is tasked by Queen Chrysalis herself to hunt down the two "traitors" that have willingly associated themselves with the ponies, and... "dispose of them" in the most heinous way his sick mind can imagine.

So I guess there's that.

(Crosses over with the Dark Souls series. Don't look at me like that, I was going through a phase!)

Zephyr and Gloamwing, a male pegasus, and a female bat pegasus respectively, were the most inseparable of friends in the brief time they knew each other as foals. Many years later, both have become seasoned members of Celestia and Luna's royal guard, and finally get the chance to see each other once again when an archaeological expedition set to the frozen north pairs both their squads together to accompany it. As they catch up and are just discovering that their friendship, still going strong after so long, may be evolving into something more, a terrifying threat arises in the perilous frozen wastes as a malevolent, mechanical being begins to ruthlessly pursue the group.
