This story is a sequel to A Scientific Breakthrough

Unstatisfied with his current role in Equestria, Primal Dagger creates a new initiative: The Riftwalkers. He, along with Twilight Sparkle and a pacified Nightmare Moon set out to explore new worlds using a portal system.

This story is seperated accordingly into the crossovers, and can be read as such. It will start with the journey to the universe, and end with the journey from the universe back to Equestria. Only the prologue is an exception to his, and can be read if you have not read the prequel.

Any ideas for Crossovers/OC's/Universes are highly appreciated and will be considered.

(This is an alternate sequel to A Scientific Breakthrough, and what I intended it to be in the first place. This story will continue world-travel, and at the same time reduce the confusion previously caused by having a 'sequel within a story')

Primal Dagger, Shadow of Equestria, has been here for a while now. Ponies started liking him, especially those close to him. With his presence however, the primal Elements of Creation have started awakening, sensing dark tidings looming over the land. Only time will tell if this is enough to beat whatever lurks in the darker shadows...

If you have not read A Scientific Breakthrough, it is not required. It is, however, highly recommended to understand certain parts.

A scientist is tasked with finding a way off of a dying Earth. Pollution took its toll on our planet, and now we have to face it's consequences. He finds a solution, rumoured to be capable of world-travel. He ends up in an unknown world, but one that is somehow strangely familiar...

:EDIT: This story, previously named The Riftwalker, is now this. The 'new' Riftwalker will be the story that continues from chapter 14 onwards, as to reduce confusion. This story will be marked as complete, and the chapters from 13 onwards will be moved to the new Riftwalker.
