Princess Luna was looking forward to seeing the changes in Equestria since her banishment and Nightmare Night seemed like a good place to start. Unfortunately, fate had other ideas and now she finds herself stuck in Tartarus-knows-where with an insufferable slob of a creature known as a human. Worse, he refuses to tell her how he knows her name and threatens her with the box if she misbehaves.

At least until Saturday, or so he has promised.

"Hey Thorax?"

"Yeah, Spike?"

"Remember when you said you remember being different from the other changelings the day you were hatched?"

"...Yes?"

"Well, I asked Twilight about it and... Well, apparently nopony really remembers that far back in their lives."

Thorax flinched.

When Thorax made the plan to move to the Crystal Empire, he didn't think it would be so easy as it was. Then again, nothing ever goes according to plan. Thorax learns this the hard way. Having just convinced the rulers of the Crystal Empire, his first friend pops the question he did not want to hear.

Now, his story is quickly falling apart and his mind must work overtime to maintain his recent clemency.

After all, he's not a regular changeling. The ponies believe it too, just for different reasons.

Tartarus—home to criminals, destroyers, masterminds and rambling madponies. Its secure pit housed Equestria's most dangerous foes, who were left to rot until either death or insanity claimed them.

Of course, its hellish landscapes and terrors would not deter Celestia from visiting an old acquaintance over tea and cake. Rehabilitation had always been the staple of Equestrian penal policy and what better way to check up on someone than to have a chat over cake?

If only he could stop resisting...

When Cadance and Luna realized they shipped Celestia differently, there was only one way to settle their differences. Unbeknownst to Luna, however, Cadence had a secret weapon. A weapon so powerful, it could set the world ablaze.
