With no family left alive, Scootaloo prepares herself for spending the Hearth's Warming holiday in an orphanage for the first time. Even though she's around other ponies, never in her life has she felt so alone.

Thankfully, Rainbow Dash comes along and tells Scootaloo that she'll be able to spend the holiday with her family. However, what they have in store for the young filly is something that Scootaloo never expected to happen in a million moons.

So, I'm mowing my back lawn (sort of) in early November when Twilight appears out of nowhere. She becomes curious about this new world she's in, so I take her on a little excursion.

I know this isn't my best story, but I'm posting it for two reasons. One, this is actually the first MLP fanfiction I've ever written, and two, I'm doing this to commemorate my 2-year anniversary as a Brony. Like I said, it may not be perfect, but I'm already prepared for the amount of hate I'm going to get over this story, especially because of a certain hockey team...

It's Spike's birthday, and he feels the day couldn't get any better, given the party he has just been thrown. However, Twilight says she has one more present for him, but when the little dragon receives it, he doesn't know how to react.

Rarity is devastated to learn that her father had gone into kidney failure and is in need of a transplant. At some point, Rarity makes a decision that she feels is right, but she has no idea that it will put her at extreme odds with her mother, threatening their relationship.

Spike and Rarity are enjoying a nice picnic together when Spike asks his friend a relatively simple question. To his surprise, Rarity can't seem to come up with a clear answer right off the bat.

Apple Bloom knows that it won't matter what cutie mark she gets, as long as it represents who she is. Still, deep down inside, she desperately wants it. One seemingly perfect morning, she gets to school only to find that one of her closest friends has received a cutie mark. Unfortunately, the yellow filly has no idea that this one event will trigger a chain reaction that will eventually lead her to make a devastating decision.

This story follows Shining Armor as he looks back on some of his greatest memories with Twilight, all while he and Cadance make their way to Canterlot for Twilight's coronation. Seeing how he wasn't able to hold back his "liquid pride" for very long, I always wondered how Shining Armor felt in the hours leading up to the ceremony.
