Insignifcant Information: I am a bisexual man who is used to being outcast by people and society. I'm very fucked up in tons of ways, but its alright, I'm getting professional help for it.

Fiction I Read: Foalcon, incest, rape/dubious consent, gore, loss of innocence, snuff, gore, size difference, hypercocks, taboo/degrading fetishes, and other taboo themes.

I have a lot of opinions, but first of all I will say that I appreciate fiction that explores the darkness of humanity. I understand that many cannot handle dark fictional content, and that’s perfectly okay! However, I tend to cope with things by exposing myself to it. In an odd way, stories like these help me cope because I can differentiate myself from the fictional content I am reading. In fact, many therapists advise people to write content like this as a means to vent, whether that's to cope with intrusive thoughts or personal traumas; or even just to express themselves, or let off steam. People don't need a reason to write what they want to, and you should respect that.

Taboo fiction helps me acknowledge that there is a dark side to humanity, and as disturbing as it is to see it displayed so bluntly, it is something not to be ignorant of. These kinds of things have happened in history, and sadly, still happen in the present day. I am not forgiving these heinous acts; I do not condone immoral things in real life. I repeat: I do not condone immoral things in real life. I read stories about rape, pedophilia, murder, etcetera, but that doesn't mean I think these things are okay. Some think that one’s taste in fiction dictates morals; this is not the case. I read this kind of content for similar reasons that horror enthusiasts enjoy slasher media. 

I am constantly on the search for well-written taboo and dark fiction, especially ones which have an intriguing story and aren't purely clop and gore-fodder. I'm fine with reading fiction that consists of a lot of gore and porn, but I enjoy dark content a lot better when it's paired with competent writing. I may be asking a lot from a My Little Pony fanfiction website, but there are a plethora of competent writers on here.
