ON HIATUS FOR A SPELL

-Two Kings of Fire and Ice have been at war for some time, and their constant feuding and firing is causing much suffering not just for them but the galaxy, but their respective children (Who are in love) seek help to stop their wicked fathers.

-Lightning is reunited with an old friend who survived from his home planet, but she is determined to win him away from Starfleet and his family altogether.

-Starfleet is facing more backlash from haters.

-Swift Star is struggling to receive promotion, as well as another potential romance with Lightning's old friend.

Strings, a very talented singer, is struggling with an incurable case of deep depression from heartbreak. When Twilight and Princess Cadance try to help him resolve his issues, they accidently turn him into an evil creature that intends to wipe out all Love in Equestria.

Lessons:

(Regardless if someone is being self-destructive)

-Commanding/Demanding/Bullying someone to "Let Go" and "Move on" only makes things worse, not better.
-You cannot force someone to change. It's their choice to make and theirs alone.
-People cannot simply change how the feel or who they want to love simply because you want them to.
-You can only *TRY* to help someone with their issues, but in the end, your efforts may not work.

A pony who feels he has nothing left to live for confides with Twilight to do him a favor she absolutely refuses, which results in the desperate pony taking things to the extreme!

Lessons:

-You can never truly understand someone else's pain (what goes through their head)
-People can be loved, appreciated, and needed/wanted... but sometimes even these are not enough
-You can try to persuade someone not to do it, but sometimes it doesn't help.

Twilight messed up big time, and as a result she is paying the price when vengeful ponies trap her and Spike in a situation where they are doomed to perish if help does not arrive on time.

Lessons:

-Make sure you know what you're doing before you decide to help someone.
-Beware of your serious mistakes, for they can come back to get you.
-Honor and fighting for it is not always the smartest thing
-Some people cannot be persuaded to change their minds

Twilight's paranoia, OCD, and obsession with Friendship is going way over the line-- She can't think straight, she can't understand her surrounding, and she ends up making things worse for others instead of better.

She is then persuaded to see a doctor to help her deal with her problems, (In relations to past Friendship is Failure stories) and reflect on different perspectives and aspects of how life does not truly revolve around Friendship alone.

Lessons:

-There are times when you SHOULD try and help, and times when you should STEP BACK.
-Trying to force change on someone who doesn't want to change only make things worse, not better.
-Sometimes, no matter how hard you try and help or how much you want to... there is nothing you can do.

After Twilight foolishly attempts to battle Raven, she is spared from death by Lightning's quick actions, but she is then subjected to proper but devastating reprimanding for her actions.

An elderly woodcarver who is down on all hope, slowly embraces the spirit of Hearths Warming, and finds he has a lot more to live for than he believes.

A simulation is run to show what would happen if Power Rangers Starfleet battled The King of Monsters, all viewed by a computer geek who has bought stolen computer software for a very foolish goal.

Don't be fooled by the many downvotes (It's bullies and haters being mean) Give the fic a chance.

-Everyone's dreams and realities are being targeted by an evil institution from another world, planning to harness dreams to conquer all, but a magical knight comes to aid Starfleet in pushing them back.

-A young filly who hates her parents, all grown ups, and does not wish to grow up herself, discovers a magic that not only will keep her young (With a catch) but allow her to get even with adults on a crazy and vengeful streak!

-Castor and Leilani seem to have some connection towards the Dream Knight.

-The team feels that their lives are changing too drastically with their new promotions and growing families, as if their hobbies and other jobs are fading away.

When you break up with someone, or you have your feelings rejected, sometimes it's "Can we just be friends." Well, Twilight and Princess Cadance try to sort out a pony who is not willing to just be friends with a pony that let him down.

Lessons:

1: Some people just aren't willing to settle for "just friends."

2: Friendship is a two-way street, and to make it work, everyone must play their part properly.

3: Forcing a Friend to do something they cannot stand; are you a true friend to them?
