2072089 To be honest, I like the entire randomness of it all. I have absolutely no idea where the story is headed and, when I feel like I can predict what happens next, it goes in a completely different direction, opening more crazy possibilities.
Also, you seem to be setting up some kind of romance, although I can't exactly pin-point it. I hope you keep this story going: it'll help fill in the time between season 5 and season 6 of the show.
