Assume also, that the name of Dusk Shine's sister is Cadance and that Shining Armor is the nephew destined to wed her.
Assume that the mastermind behind the evil plot is King Metamorphosis.
Assume that I have no idea what I was doing while writing this and you'll be fine.

Main character tag is other because I think of Twilight and her friends as separate ponies from Dusk Shine and his posse.

Edit: Chapter 2 is slightly more "correct". Though, I'm probably still going to receive hate for this.

Every once in a while there is one character that defies all explanation and baffles the minds of geniuses the world over. Today, two such characters will be thrown into the field and all will find out who will win.

July 16, 2013: I hope I haven't made a terrible mistake by allowing fan fic suggestions for combatants. It'll take me forever to read through all of those works for potential abilities used. Rhetorical Concept: There are over a hundred stories revolving around the Conversion Bureau universe in which the protagonist contemplates becoming a pony or is a pony right from the get-go. Typically, he/she takes the form of an earth pony, a unicorn, or a Pegasus. Every once in a while is the needle-in-the-haystack story regarding a person who changed into an alicorn. There are even a handful of gryphon and dragon transformations.
But what about the even rarer gene, the one that is immune to the serum's magical, technological properties? What becomes of them? Here I attempt to address that concept. Here is the percent so small, that most individuals would never consider this possibility.

When the forces of Outworld threaten to absorb Equestria, the Princesses must make an emotionally difficult choice. Several ponies are required to participate in the deadly Mortal Kombat tournament for the safety of their realm. After many rounds, only one Equestrian remains: Tundra. She never asked for this task, but it was her fate.

The idea has been nagging me for a bit. Since I'm not expecting a whole lot out of it, this will be a one-shot.

Seven princesses with hearts of light are the last of their kind that live in Equestria.
Finding new strength in the strange weapon known as the Keyblade, they must venture out to several worlds ensuring the balance between light and darkness.

It's a sort of alternate universe in which characters will get caught in Kingdom Hearts-esque situations.
While there won't be any explicit deaths of characters, there will be some heartbreaking moments, so I'm marking it sad just in case.
