Hey all, just stopping by for a second to mention a few things.
I am a conglomerate of Engineeriological and Writeological forces with a Ponypreneurial spirit.
Hey all, just stopping by for a second to mention a few things.
THE WONDERBOLTS ARE ASSHOLES.
So I’d like to start by apologizing for how, well, inconsistent I’ve been. I disappear for a while, then claim I’m back, publish one story, then disappear again. I’m sorry if I’ve been ignoring comments or anything people have sent me over the past few months, but my mind has been elsewhere. I figure that this is a safe enough place to reveal my current plans, given that I’m almost certain that nobody who this will affect knows that I compose The Horse Words.
In January of 2012, my older brother came to visit me in Seattle. WHile he was here, he told me about a movie he had seen that he wanted to watch: a documentary called Exit Through The Gift Shop about street art, more specifically Banksy. I had no interest in the world of street art, but I decided to give it a try.
The next hour and a half would go on to change my life.
It’s not often that MLP gets to me.
Yes, there have been a few “awwww, that’s sad” moments, the chief of which was Tanks for the Memories. There have been times where I can relate to the issues at hand as I have gone through them myself, such as Testing Testing 123. There have even been episodes that really spoke to me legit, such as Filli Vanilli, which was an episode that sorta helped me break out of a bit of a funk I had been in.
But this episode. This episode, man…
Blimey, this one’s late! I’ve had a busy week, between taking some engineering classes in preparation for a big life change coming in the next few months (a GOOD life change, more on that in a future blog) and the fact that I am actively melting because Seattle appears to have broken off of earth and is spiraling directly into the sun. Also Splatoon is taking a lot of my time. Good lord that game is fun.
It’s been a very long, very off-and-on journey, but at long last, Just Stories is live.
It would take far, far too long to adequately explain who—or even what—I am. I'll try to keep it as simple as possible, but I make no promises.
There are infinite dimensions that exist in reality; every possible world that can exist, does exist. And all these worlds need people to take care of them.
That is where we come in. That's what I do. Or rather, did.
